Richard John Casey, 54, of Mattoon , formerly of Plymouth , MN , passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana . Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, with his memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church , 105 Forest View Lane , Plymouth , MN 55441 , with Father Patrick Casey officiating. Inurnment of ashes will follow in St. John's Cemetery , Darwin , MN . Arrangements: Caudill-King. Richard was born January 13, 1956 in Minneapolis , Minnesota , son of James E. and Alberta L. (Dean) Casey. He married Lori Ann Malecha, February 22, 1997 in Austin , MN ; she survives. Also surviving are two sisters: Kathy Johnson and Vickie (Mark) Brandes; one brother: Jim (Roberta) Casey; his father-in-law and mother in-law: Gene and Jeanne Malecha; two sisters-in-law: Terry (Bill) Stacken and Sandy (Dean) Wacek; three nephews: Brad Johnson, Brandon Stacken, and Dylan Wacek; and two nieces: Molly Hanson and Laura King. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard was retired from Riverland Community College , where he had served as an administrator. In his early years, he was an exceptional baseball player, eventually playing and coaching baseball at the University of Minnesota-Morris. Richard enjoyed spending time at the lake in Northern Minnesota and Kentucky . Family was at the center of Richard's life. He enjoyed being with family and sharing stories of the good old days.

Kottom, Jennifer (Proops) Age 51, of Pacific Palisades, CA. Passed away May 10, 2008 at the home of her parents, Richard and Mariel Proops, Eden Prairie, MN after a 2½ year struggle with pancreatic cancer. Graduate Wayzata HS 1974; St. Olaf College 1978. Survived by parents; brothers, Kevin (Sandy) and Martin (Rosie) Proops; sister, Sarah Millard (Bob Burgess); niece, Amy Proops; nephews, Eric Proops, Charlie Proops and Scott Millard. Mourned by extended family and a host of friends throughout the world. Jennifer lived life fully and with great enthusiasm, particularly enjoying art, literature, birding, her 4 parrots, travel and her family and friends. Funeral services Holden Lutheran Church, Kenyon MN, Friday May 30, 2008, 2 PM. Memorials to Pancreatic Action Network at www.pancan.org. Paul Damien Chapman
Chapman, Paul Damien age 52 of Mound died peacefully December 4, 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Patricia and his sisters, Margaret Mary and Theresa Anne. Survived by his "Significant Other" Nancy Larson; sisters, Kathleen Oslund, (Mike) Patricia Sauer (Chet), Anne Stacken (Richard), Maureen Krona (Kirk); brothers, Donald Chapman (Mary), David Chapman (Paula), Michael Chapman (Karen), John Chapman, and Matthew Chapman (Juliane), as well as other loving relatives and friends. Paul was a 35 year employee of The Foursome in Wayzata, a 7 year member of the Tonka Bay Bowling League at Country Club Lanes and a 12 year friend of Bill W. Memorial Mass 11 AM, Wednesday, December 12 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN with visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Memorials preferred to the family. Dugan Michael T. Dugan, age 49, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 after fighting a courageous battle with Scleroderma. Preceded in death by his father, William P. Dugan, and his son, Joseph. Survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Luke, John, Emma, and Matthew; mother, Betty; brothers, Patrick Dugan (wife, Susan; children, Ben, Megan, Jack, Dillon and Jacob), David Dugan (wife, Blanca; children, Daniel, Maria, Sara, and Michaela), Daniel Dugan (wife, Jennifer; children, Samantha, William, Allison, and Michael); sisters, Catherine McLaughlin (husband, Joseph: children, Tim, Mary Kate, and Grace), Ann Dugan (children, Elizabeth, Patrick, and Nicholas) and sister, Mary Wheeland; extended family and friends.
